Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bulkley Lodge, a stand-alone long-term care home located in central Smithers.
About the Role:As a Registered Nurse, you will provide professional, safe, and effective nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, psychological, and emotional well-being. You will work under the direction of the Coordinator of Resident Care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN registrant.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Current knowledge in the field of geriatric nursing.
