About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Philippe Rola. As a Personal Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering dietary needs and preferences.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands, ensuring their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a related field, such as healthcare or social services.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, with a combination of sitting and standing throughout the day.
