About the Role:

Fed IT is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing level 1 and 2 support to users on service incidents, including IT, printing, and end-user connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site or remote assistance, including evening and weekend rotations as needed.
  • Perform technical interventions, analyze causes, and provide escalation services for all workstations and network connectivity.
  • Configure, install, and prepare laptops, desktops, and other peripherals.
  • Create and document procedures for users.
  • Repair or replace computer components on PCs or laptops.
  • Assist with the implementation of new technologies and systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and improve overall system performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar position.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10/11 environments and the Office suite.
  • Knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk, Catia, Altair) is an asset.
  • Basic knowledge and experience of networking tools: LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory administration techniques (user creation/deletion, profiles, connection scripts).
