Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Equipment Technician Trainee to join our team at BC Hydro. As a Trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in electrical equipment maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical equipment, including generators, transformers, and switchgear.
  • Perform routine inspections and tests to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Participate in training programs to develop skills and knowledge in electrical equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate with experienced technicians to learn and apply best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
Workplace Information
  • Hybrid work arrangement.
  • 37.5 hours per week.
  • English language required.
