The Government of Nunavut is seeking a highly skilled Brand Consultant to join our team. As a Brand Consultant, you will provide expert advice and guidance to departments handling employer/employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions. This is a critical aspect in the development and maintenance of a productive and harmonious working environment in GN departments, boards, and agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice, training, and guidance to departments on employer/employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Develop and maintain a productive and harmonious working environment in GN departments, boards, and agencies.
- Collaborate with the Manager, Employee Relations, to achieve the goals and objectives of the department.
- Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment.
- A degree from a recognized university in Industrial Relations, Business (with a Human Resources or Labour Relations major), Psychology, or Labour Law.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- A good understanding of compensation policies and practices.
- The ability to communicate in French, one of Nunavut's official languages (i.e., Inuktut, English, and French).
- Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, and land, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, and Inuktut.
