Job Title: Food Service Supervisor
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TIM HORTONS. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and supervise the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure they have the necessary knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and maintaining a client-focused attitude with excellent oral communication skills.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
Work Environment:
- Food service establishment with on-site customer service.
- Hot work site environment with odours.
Work Setting:
- Food service establishment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Supervision:
- 3-4 people, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen and food service helpers.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Standing for extended periods.
Personal Suitability:
- Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
