About the Role
The Granite Club is seeking a qualified Children's Gymnastics Coach and Educator to join our team. This exciting opportunity will see you providing creative and engaging gymnastics programs for children in our Kidzone.

As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality gymnastics classes that cater to the needs of our young members. Your expertise will ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, where children can develop their fundamental movement skills and build confidence through physical activity.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with children, has a strong background in gymnastics coaching, and excellent communication skills. If you have experience working with school-aged children and possess a First Aid and C.P.R. certification, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans focusing on basic techniques and body awareness.
  • Teach fundamental gymnastics skills to children and beginners, ensuring proper form and technique.
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment, setting up equipment correctly and spotting participants as needed.
  • Encourage skill progression through positive reinforcement and constructive feedback.
  • Foster a love for gymnastics while promoting discipline, confidence, and teamwork.

Requirements
  • Minimum grade 12.
  • NCCP Level 1 Gymnastics Certification in Foundations and Theory is an asset.
  • Previous experience coaching recreational gymnastics classes is an asset but not required.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is essential.
  • First Aid and C.P.R. certification required.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
  • Must be able to work variable shifts: evenings, weekends, and holidays.

About the Salary and Benefits
