Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and organized individual with a passion for gymnastics who can provide exceptional care and programming to our young members. As a Lead Gymnastics Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and implementing creative and engaging programs that promote physical activity, socialization, and skill development. You will work closely with our Child and Youth Activities and Camps Coordinator to ensure seamless delivery of our programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Design and implement gymnastics programs for children aged 4-12 years old, focusing on fundamental skills, safety, and fun;">
  • Provide excellent care and supervision to children during programs, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment;">
  • Collaborate with our Child and Youth Activities and Camps Coordinator to plan and deliver programs that meet the needs of our members;">
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about their child's progress and activities;">
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance, feedback, and program evaluations;">
  • Assist with setup and cleanup of program areas, ensuring equipment is secure and tidy;">
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, and empathy among staff and participants;">
  • Contribute to the overall success of our Child and Youth Programs department by participating in meetings, training sessions, and special events.">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • A minimum grade 12 education;">
  • NCCP Level 1 Gymnastics Certification in Foundations and Theory (an asset);">
  • Previous experience coaching recreational gymnastics classes or working with school-aged children;">
  • First Aid and CPR certification;">
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;">
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.">

Salary

">

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as access to our Employee Wellness Program and fitness facilities.
