About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our team at RLB LLP. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of multiple companies within our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage financial statements for individual companies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Monitor cash flow, develop budgets, and provide detailed financial forecasting to support business decisions.
  • Manage all aspects of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and expense management across the various entities.
  • Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll distribution for all entities.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with HST filing requirements across multiple entities.
  • Prepare and file tax returns for each company, except the parent company.
  • Implement and monitor inventory management systems and cost control measures to optimize efficiency.
  • Leverage experience with POS systems and processes in the retail and hospitality sectors to improve operational and financial reporting.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with expertise in POS systems and retail/hospitality industries.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, full-cycle accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and payroll processes.
  • Experience with tax filing, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • CPA or equivalent designation is considered an asset.
