We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Real Estate Markets group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing and underwriting new loan requests, as well as providing support to Directors in the credit process.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and underwrite new loan requests using the Bank's Risk Assessment Framework, Financial Analysis, and Credit Tools.
- Compile financial information and prepare credit submissions to the Bank's credit group.
- Perform daily administration of the Group's lending portfolio, including annual credit reviews.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in the credit process.
- Participate in team initiatives, including industry research reports and ad hoc portfolio strategy requests.
- Experience in commercial credit, financial statement, and underwriting analysis.
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple requests.
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance, with strong quantitative, financial modeling, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate effectively.
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Professional and effective oral and written communication skills.
- 3-6 years' experience in commercial real estate, commercial banking, or similar credit analysis and underwriting.
- Experience working with large, complex real estate credit exposures and syndicated transactions.
- MBA, CPA, or CFA.
