Accounting Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Technician to join our team at Cancoil Thermal Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Bookkeeping: Use manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to record and reconcile financial transactions.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Accounting Support: Provide support to the accounting team with tasks such as journal entries, trial balance preparation, and financial analysis.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and organizational skills.
