Digital Implementation Engineer Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Implementation Engineer to join our team at The Six Semiconductor. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital circuit design, physical design, and the RTL-to-GDSII flow, as well as exposure to industry-standard EDA tools.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in Design Implementation: Support the digital design implementation process, including tasks such as synthesis, PnR, and timing analysis.
- Methodology Development: Develop and enhance design flows using scripting languages to streamline design processes and improve product quality.
- EDA Tool Usage: Gain hands-on experience with EDA tools under the guidance of senior members of the team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design and release engineering teams to understand the full design process and contribute to ongoing projects.
- Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining design documentation and reports.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Technical Skills:
- Understanding of electrical circuits at both transistor and logic gate levels.
- Basic understanding of RTL design principles and Verilog HDL language.
- Experience with scripting languages e.g. TCL, Perl, Python is an asset.
- Exposure to digital implementation EDA tools such as Cadence Genus, Innovus is an asset.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as a team.
- Willingness to learn.
