About the Role

As a Digital Design Engineer Intern at The Six Semiconductor, you will be working closely with our Digital Design team to gain hands-on experience in RTL design and functional modeling of PHY custom circuits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement PHY and Testchip RTL logic in Verilog
  • Develop functional models of PHY custom circuits in Verilog
  • Participate in test plan development and execution
  • Contribute to the development of testchip and PHY bring-up flow
  • Design and implement C and Python tests
  • Develop methodologies and automation processes to improve design efficiency

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits concepts at both transistor and logic gate levels
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and willingness to learn
  • Programming, HDL, and scripting language skills (C/C++, Verilog, Perl, Python, Tcl, etc.) are highly valued
  • Familiarity with RTL design and high-speed memory interfaces (GDDR/LPDDR/HBM) is a significant asset
