Job Title: Technical Product Lead

About the Role:

The Technical Product Lead is responsible for driving the development and implementation of technology products within Scotiabank. This role involves managing product planning, adoption, and lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement technology product strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams to gather and prioritize product requirements.
  2. Collaborate with engineering teams to design, build, and deploy technology products that meet business needs and customer expectations.
  3. Manage product adoption, ensuring successful implementation and integration with existing systems and processes.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  5. Lead the development of business cases to allocate resources and funding for technology product initiatives.
  6. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, engineers, and customers.
  7. Stay informed about Scotiabank's risk appetite and risk culture, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 8+ years of experience in technology product management, with a focus on cloud engineering and digital solutions.
  3. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  4. Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working with data and metrics.
