Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Gas Fitter and Installer to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances in various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and mark reference points for gas line installation and equipment setup
  • Install and maintain meters, regulators, and gas lines between gas units and meters
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for gas-related services
  • Repair and service gas appliances and related equipment
  • Advise clients on gas system standards, safety features, and maintenance
  • Test and adjust control mechanisms and check pipes and piping connections for gas leaks
  • Estimate costs and materials for gas-related projects
  • Install and service propane and natural gas filling stations
Requirements
  • Gas Fitter Certificate - Level 2 or B
  • Criminal record check
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding work requiring standing for extended periods and bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 37.5 to 44 hour workweek. The work environment is noisy, and you will be required to work at various locations, including commercial and residential settings.
