Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at JIM & DON INVESTMENTS LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing a team of sales associates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of sales associates, assign tasks, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, manage stock levels, and conduct regular inventory checks.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and analyze data to inform business decisions.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure a safe and secure work environment, maintain a bondable status, and adhere to basic security clearance requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Work Setting: Rural area, retail business.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, and team player.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Schedule:

32 to 40 hours per week, permanent position.
