Job Title: Truck Driver - Over the Road

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Saskatchewan Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.

Requirements:

  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Bondable.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.

Working Conditions:

  • Permanent position.
  • 32 to 60 hours per week.
  • English language.
