We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Raikot Transportation Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across international routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining the highest level of safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, adhering to company procedures and regulations.
- Obtain Special Permits: Obtain necessary permits and documents to transport cargo on international routes.
- Operate Trucks: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
- Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Dangerous Goods: Transport and handle dangerous goods safely and in accordance with regulations.
- AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license.
- Driver's License: Hold a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
- Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
