Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse.
  • Remove litter and garbage and cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Lay sod or seed and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
  • Repair and maintain equipment and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment and perform tree removal tasks.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Physical demands: The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including wet, damp, noisy, and hot environments.
  • Work setting: Rural area, landscape maintenance.
