Job Title: Chief Executive Officer

At the Nova Scotia College of Nursing, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer and Registrar. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the nursing profession and public health in Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the nursing profession and public health in Nova Scotia.
  • Lead and manage a team of professionals to ensure effective governance of the nursing profession.
  • Collaborate with the Board to make high-profile decisions and drive organizational success.
  • Facilitate the development of programs, services, and policies to support nursing regulation.
  • Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Establish long-range financial, budgetary, and HR plans for the organization.
  • Engage with key partners and stakeholders to advance the organization's mission.
Requirements:
