LTO Secondary Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Secondary Teacher to join our team as a Long-Term Substitute. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic programming to students in a treatment class setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles and abilities
- Provide individualized support to students with high needs and/or formal identification
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement trauma-informed practices
- Utilize technology resources to enhance student learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Secondary Qualifications - Special Education and Guidance
- Required subject qualifications: Various Secondary Courses
- FTE: 1.0
- Grade(s)/assignment: 7 - 12
The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of classroom settings across the Durham Region. Teachers with Grove may be assigned to any of the classroom locations as required and must be willing to work within the regular or modified secondary calendar.
