Job Title: LTO Secondary Teacher: Technological Education

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified LTO Secondary Teacher to join our team at the Durham District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Technological Education to students in Grades 9 and 10.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Technological Education courses to students in Grades 9 and 10
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Technological Education or a related field
  • Experience teaching Technological Education to students in Grades 9 and 10
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Commitment to equity and inclusion in the classroom
