Job Summary

Salute is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers, including electrical and mechanical systems, facilities management, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and Mechanical Systems Management: Monitor and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee facilities operations, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical systems, as well as other facilities equipment.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, including power outages, equipment failures, and other critical incidents.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including generators, switchgear, UPS systems, and HVAC systems. Proficiency in maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights. The candidate must also be able to work in a variety of temperatures and environments, including extreme temperatures, rain, and snow.
