Job Summary

Batule Forklift Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our team. As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty equipment, ensuring that our fleet is in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Use computerized and other testing equipment to detect faults and malfunctions in heavy-duty equipment.
  • Diagnose and Repair Faults: Diagnose faults or malfunctions and repair or replace defective parts to ensure that equipment is functioning properly.
  • Order and Maintain Inventory: Order parts and maintain inventory to ensure that necessary components are available for repairs.
  • Perform Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment, including welding and other tasks as required.
  • Test and Verify Equipment: Test repaired equipment to ensure that it meets manufacturers' specifications and is in good working condition.
  • Perform Other Maintenance Tasks: Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance tasks as required to ensure that equipment is in good working condition.
Work Environment

As a Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of heavy-duty equipment. You will be required to work outdoors and in dusty and noisy conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment requiring standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
