The successful candidate will work closely with senior members of the team to analyze and rate Non-Bank Financial Institutions, developing and maintaining financial spreads and tools, and presenting analysis to Fitch's internal credit rating committee.
We offer a range of credit ratings, research, and data services to help investors make informed decisions, and our Financial Institutions Group focuses on providing ratings and analysis for banks, insurance companies, and other financial institutions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, with 5-7 years of experience in credit analysis, and expertise in Excel and Word. An MBA and/or CFA designation is a plus, as is some coverage or knowledge of bank or non-bank sectors.

Key responsibilities will include:
- Performing analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the credit quality of Non-Bank Financial Institutions;
- Developing and maintaining financial spreads and tools;
- Presenting analysis of companies to Fitch's internal credit rating committee;
- Conducting onsite meetings with company management;
- Communicating rating rationale to external audiences;
- Participating in the evaluation of other credits within Financial Institutions;
- Assisting in related industry studies.
