Job Summary

Warman's Welding Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication and Repair Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to shape and form metal.
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using welding techniques.
  • Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air) to cut and shape metal.
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move and position metal parts and products.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced fabrication environment with repetitive tasks and attention to detail required.
  • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks that require hand-eye coordination.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication.
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and welding helmet.
  • Dental plan, health care plan, and permanent employment.
  • 40 hours per week, English language, and Anglais as the primary language of work.
