Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our Automation and Digitalization division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead control systems projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Design and develop control systems, including hardware and software components, to meet project requirements.
  • Develop and implement control algorithms and logic, integrating systems with existing or new equipment, machinery, or processes.
  • Test and debug control systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to specifications.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, design documents, user manuals, and maintenance procedures.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and resourcing, including managing procurement of necessary equipment and materials.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering with a focus on automation and electrification technologies.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in industrial engineering, with consulting engineering experience an asset.
  • Strong understanding of automation and electrification technologies, including knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Project management experience an asset.
