Job Summary

T.S. Kooner Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport goods and materials to various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A) is required.
  • Experience with dump trucks and heavy equipment is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be physically demanding, and able to work in a variety of locations.
