Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Clinic Assistant to join our team at Northshore Medical Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide administrative support to our healthcare professionals, ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer tests and instruct patients on test procedures, recording results and monitoring equipment.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with patient assessments and develop information materials for patients.
  • Follow through on treatment programs with patients and maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products.
  • Set up and dismantle equipment, clean and maintain equipment, and prepare and maintain equipment and supplies.
  • Process claims, collect statistics, and maintain supplies and inventory of equipment.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage routine office functions, and order supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Office of health care professional, medical clinic, or physician's office setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word skills.
  • Attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliable, and team player.
