As a Senior Analyst in our Risk Oversight & Compliance team, you will be responsible for delivering strategic project initiatives related to the Canadian Depository for Securities Limited (CDS) and Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC).

Critical Components:

  • Analyzing financial risk exposures and validating components used to manage risks.
  • Designing internal policies related to market, credit, and liquidity risks.
  • Collaborating with business partners to satisfy needs and anticipate potential issues.
  • SUPPORTING RISK MEASUREMENT AND QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS RELATED TO EQUITY, FIXED INCOME, DERIVATIVES, AND STRUCTURED PRODUCTS.
  • Operationalizing hedging strategies and procedures to manage the default of Clearing Members.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial industry with a focus on capital markets and financial risk management.
  • Relevant risk management experience in equities, fixed-income, structured products, and derivatives.
  • Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight timelines without compromising deliverables.
  • A proactive initiative and capacity to work independently.
  • Expert written and oral communication skills.

PAY RANGE: $80,000 - $120,000 PER YEAR, depending on experience and qualifications.
