Our client, a well-established custom manufacturer with a strong presence in the automotive, utility, agricultural, mobile service, and heavy equipment markets, is seeking an experienced and skilled Sales Representative to join their growing team based in the Halton area.
This is an ideal opportunity for a sales professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related technical sales role. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a reputable and stable company that offers a comprehensive benefit program, a competitive base salary of $60K plus 1% bonus (uncapped), and a pension plan.
The ideal candidate will have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as the ability to read blueprints and work with clients to identify their needs and provide solutions. They will also have strong initiative, be self-directed, and have a passion for sales and customer service.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Handling customer concerns and implementing corrective actions to address issues
- Collaborating with clients to identify their needs and advising on products and solutions
- Creating, quoting, negotiating, and closing effective business deals
- Working closely with other departments to provide the highest level of quality and client satisfaction
- Traveling as needed to meet with clients and work with the sales team
The requirements for this role include:
- 3+ years of technical sales experience
- Working knowledge and ability to read blueprints
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Customer-focused, attentive, with great follow-up skills
- Computer proficiency (Word and Excel), CRM, and ERP
- Initiative; self-directed, strong work ethic; a passion for sales and customer service
