Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at 1830482 Ontario Inc. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, portion and wrap foods, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Inventory Management: Keep records of the quantities of food used, stock refrigerators and salad bars, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Customer Service: Take customers' orders, use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our team to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and maintain a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout your shift.
