At Schlegel Villages, we're redefining elder care through innovative village design and culture change. We're seeking a dedicated and caring Recreation Team Member to join our Long Term Care REC Team in Barrie, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of high-quality recreational programs and activities for our residents
  • Collaborate with the REC Team to develop and implement resident-centered programs
  • Provide exceptional customer service and promote a positive resident experience
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Recreation/Leisure studies and/or gerontology from a community college or university
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of recreational therapy practices and methods
