Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Hire and train new staff members, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and use this data to inform business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or hospitality role, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, and the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
