We are seeking a skilled Community Engagement Fundraising Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community engagement department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to engage with our supporters and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Solicit and Secure Support: Independently solicit and secure support from donors, participants, companies, and third-party groups to meet our revenue goals.
- Develop Fundraising Programs: Work with our team to develop and implement donor and participant fundraising programs, including Run for The Cure, Relay for Life, IFE's, Special Events, Planned Giving, Monthly Giving, One Time Gifts, and more.
- Identify New Partnership Opportunities: Identify new partnership opportunities and engage in business development to grow our supporter base.
- Maintain CRM Integrity: Ensure the integrity of our customer relationship management (CRM) system by complying with policies and procedures for data collection and entry.
- Contribute to a Culture of Inclusion: Contribute to our culture of justice, belonging, equity, diversity, and inclusion by ensuring that all staff feel represented and heard regardless of their background.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Related Post-Secondary Education: Related post-secondary education and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a multi-level non-profit organization, or similar levels of sales-related experience.
- Fundraising Experience: Minimum three years of fundraising or sales experience, including at least one year in relationship-based donor fundraising.
- Exceptional Relationship Management Skills: Exceptional relationship management skills, including active listening, speaking, presentation skills, motivational interviewing, and negotiations.
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to communicate at all levels with confidence.
- Time/Project Management Skills: Exceptional time/project management skills.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of $52,000 and an attractive benefits package, including paid parental leave, paid family sick time, and health insurance. CCS also offers meaningful opportunities to help make a difference in the lives of Canadians with cancer, their caregivers, families, and communities.
