Work Environment

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will spend most of your time on the road, driving through various locations and interacting with customers. You will be required to work independently, making decisions and solving problems on your own, while also being part of a larger team that relies on your contributions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and to identify any potential issues.
  • Load and unload goods, using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensure that cargo is properly secured and protected.
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents to transport goods across international routes, and comply with all relevant regulations.
  • Operate and maintain the vehicle, performing routine maintenance tasks and reporting any issues to the maintenance team.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and submit reports to the dispatch team.
  • Participate in safety training and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Valid driver's license
  • Willingness to travel cross-border and for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and long hours
