XL Logistics is seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team for long haul routes.
Job Description:Responsibilities:- Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances.
- Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle and cargo, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain the vehicle's condition and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, as well as perform other tasks related to the transportation of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- AZ class license and a valid driver's license.
- Experience with long haul trucking and knowledge of transportation regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of long haul trucking.
