Cleaning Supervisor Job Description

Nirman Management Inc. is seeking a skilled Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning operations and ensuring that our sites and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, train, and supervise cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inspect sites and facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maintain safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates for cleaning services and supplies.
  • Recommend and arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and renovations as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaners in performing their duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that cleaning staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a cleaning or facilities management environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
