Job Title: Pipefitter

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for performing hydro prep and testing duties, fabricating and fitting of various spools, and installing supports, valves, and piping systems according to specifications.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret P&ID and GA drawings to assemble process piping systems.
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems according to specifications.
  • Thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systems.
  • Perform hydrostatic or pneumatic testing to ensure system integrity.
  • Custom threading and occasional assistance in building skids.
Requirements:
  • Journeyman Pipefitter ticket is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to work on non-standard pipefitting, including custom straight spool, lateral, and drop-outs.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
