We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Plant Manager to join our team at The Burke Group: Human Resources Specialists. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and productive work environment, promoting workplace safety, and maintaining product quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe, injury/accident-free workplace.
- Focus on product quality and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee production activities, manage deliveries, and coordinate with engineering and project management teams.
- Continuously strive to improve plant efficiencies through process improvements and equipment effectiveness assessments.
- Manage department lead hands/supervisors, perform employee performance evaluations, and address employee performance and corrective action plans.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering or Business is preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in machining and/or welding, with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and product specifications, and knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid Works, and 3D modeling.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, blasting, and painting.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Competencies:
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing outstanding service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based, collaborative environment.
