Job Overview

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking an experienced IT specialist to join our team in a privileged access management role.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in PAM tools and technologies to manage and support our application environment, monitor its health, and develop scripts for automation and data retrieval.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the application environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor overall application health, identifying issues and taking corrective action to prevent downtime.
  • Develop PowerShell and SQL scripts for tasks such as automation, system integration, and data retrieval within the PAM environment.
  • Provide technical support to PAM users and stakeholders, addressing their queries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with the DBA and infra teams to check server and database status, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Remediate server vulnerabilities reported by the vulnerability team, maintaining the highest level of security.
  • Communicate with vendors to troubleshoot application issues and raise tickets as necessary.
  • Offer PAM advisory services to infrastructure administrators, providing expert guidance on best practices.
  • Lead continuous service improvement and development activities, including health checks and upgrades.
  • Maintain all documentation related to configuration, processes, service records, asset inventories, administration manuals, job instructions, and support contacts.
  • Upgrade application versions in all environments, conducting thorough testing before deployment.
  • Detail application health checks after security patching, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Candidate Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years of technical experience in Information Technology or Information Security.
  • 4+ years of experience in administering Privileged Access Management tools such as CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust.
  • Hands-on experience writing PowerShell, SQL scripts, and Linux/Unix in the context of PAM for CyberArk/Delinea/BeyondTrust products.
  • Hands-on experience in access management on Windows and managing Active Directory.
  • Experience analyzing data using Microsoft Excel.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with PowerBI.
  • Good documentation skills.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to work effectively with technical peers and business stakeholders at different levels.
  • Strong decision-making, forward thinking, and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently with minimal direction.

Education

A post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related IT field is required.
