We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Farm Worker to join our team at KOTELES FARMS LIMITED. As a Farm Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to vegetable cultivation and harvesting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply the technique of hoeing between rows to maintain crop health and prevent weeds from competing with vegetables for water and nutrients.
  • Hand harvest vegetables to ensure they are of the highest quality and ready for market.
  • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth and maximize yields.
  • Examine products for quality and readiness for market to ensure they meet our high standards.
Work Environment:

As a Farm Worker, you will be working outdoors in various weather conditions, including wet, dusty, hot, and cold temperatures. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks.

Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding work, requiring hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and examine products for quality.
  • Standing for extended periods and walking are essential tasks.
Working Conditions:

As a Farm Worker, you will be required to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, to ensure crops are harvested and prepared for market.

Language and Work Term:

We require the successful candidate to be fluent in English and available to work on a seasonal basis.

Hours of Work:

40 to 60 hours per week, depending on the season and crop requirements.
