Key Responsibilities- Determine Shipping Methods: Research and select the most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods for our products.
- Schedule Distribution: Coordinate with our warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate distribution of goods to our customers.
- Prepare Shipping Documents: Create and manage all necessary shipping documents, including bills of lading and invoices.
- Inspect and Verify Goods: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming goods to ensure they match our orders and are in good condition.
- Maintain Record-Keeping: Accurately maintain our internal record-keeping system to track inventory, shipments, and customer orders.
- Route Goods to Storage: Ensure that goods are properly routed to our storage areas to maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Pack and Unpack Goods: Pack goods for shipment and unpack goods received to ensure they are in good condition.
- Affix Shipping Information: Accurately affix shipping information and instructions on all shipments.
- Oversee Loading and Unloading: Supervise the loading and unloading of goods to ensure safe and efficient handling.
- Supervise Material Handlers: Provide guidance and oversight to our material handlers and helpers to ensure they are performing their duties safely and efficiently.
- Process Payments: Process payments for goods and services to ensure timely and accurate payment to our suppliers.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all aspects of the job.
- Repetitive Tasks: Perform repetitive tasks with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Work Term: Work a permanent schedule with regular hours.
- Work Language: Work in a predominantly English-speaking environment.
- Hours: Work 32 hours per week.
