Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Waterproofing Specialist to join our team at UNITED WATERPROOERS CANADA INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing single-ply roofing systems, applying waterproof coatings, and utilizing hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces
  • Utilize hand and power tools
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations
  • Determine layout and installation procedures
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
  • Document and prepare invoices and work orders
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and physically demanding conditions
  • Dependability, reliability, and team player skills
  • Accurate and organized with good attention to detail
