Educational Professor Position at a Prestigious University

This job posting is for a Sessional Lecturer - EDS310H5S Education in a Global Context position at the University of Toronto. The successful candidate will have experience teaching this course or a similar course at the university level, preferably internationally and/or within the public school board within the GTA.
The responsibilities of this role include designing and teaching a University credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; out-of-class interactions with students via e-mail and office hours; development, administration and marking of assignments, tests and exams.
Duties and Responsibilities- Teach EDS310H5S Education in a Global Context, covering topics such as transformative change, cultural proficiency, and empathy.
- Prepare and deliver course content, including lectures, assignments, and exams.
- Interact with students outside of class time, responding to emails and holding office hours.
- Develop, administer, and mark assignments, tests, and exams.
The preferred qualifications for this position include experience teaching this course or a similar course at the university level, with a strong background in education and international contexts.

Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000, based on the University's compensation guidelines.
