The Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Commercial Mortgage Underwriter to join our commercial team. As a key member, you'll underwrite conventional commercial mortgages and adhere to established policies and standards. You'll meet compliance requirements, find creative solutions, and manage deal flow to achieve department goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite commercial credit facilities and perform additional credit-related duties for conventional mortgage product types.
- Communicate with internal and external contacts to ensure transactions are processed efficiently.
- Manage your deal flow to meet deadlines and ensure all lending criteria have been satisfied.
- Perform various administration and reporting duties required for the department.
Requirements
We're looking for someone with proficient underwriting skills, a minimum of 3 years' commercial mortgage experience, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, good working knowledge of MS Office, and strong organizational and time management skills.
