Job Title: Senior Analyst, Records and Information Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our team in the Department of Health and Social Services. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the effective management of records and information across our organization.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of information management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work collaboratively with other teams to develop and implement data management strategies, ensuring that our information systems are aligned with our business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of our information systems
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify and address data quality issues
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide training and support to staff on data management best practices
  • Contribute to the development of business cases for data management initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant post-secondary degree in Information Management, Health Informatics, or a related field
  • At least three years of experience in information management, with a focus on data governance and analytics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
