Job Title: Road Service Technician

Manulift is seeking a skilled Road Service Technician to join our team in Ottawa. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients in the Ottawa/Gatineau region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair equipment over the phone and on-site, using advanced diagnostic methodologies.
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical individuals, ensuring clear understanding of repairs and maintenance.
  • Plan and manage repairs and scheduled maintenance efficiently, ensuring timely completion of service documents.
  • Order parts needed for repairs and maintenance, adhering to warranty procedures and parts crediting protocols.
  • Promote Manulift values to existing and potential clients, fostering strong relationships and customer loyalty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Road Service Foreman.
Requirements:
  • Relevant license (421A, 310T, 310S) considered an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electric, and electronic systems.
  • Bilingualism: fluency in French and English, both orally and in writing.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of comfort using a computer daily.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Results-focused and customer service-oriented.
