Job Title: Family Physician
Job Summary:
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a Family Physician to join our team in Bella Bella. As a Family Physician, you will provide primary care to patients in a rural and remote community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including routine check-ups, health education, and disease management.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care.
- Participate in emergency and inpatient care as needed.
- Develop and maintain a patient panel, including regular follow-up and communication.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices.
Requirements:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
- Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSCB) provisional registration.
- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) certification or eligibility.
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) membership.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) certification.
