Come work as a Family Physician – Emergency with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH)
Bella Bella is a beautiful island community off the central coast of BC, 690km north of Vancouver, surrounded by a magical world of channels, inlets and old growth forest.
The hospital, overlooking the ocean, is in the center of this rural and remote community and is a focal point for community life in many ways. Working here will give you a real sense of the richness of aboriginal culture in its home environment.
As A Family Physician – Emergency with Vancouver Coastal Health, you will:
Provide regular clinic, emergency and inpatient care under one roof to a primarily First Nations, Heiltsuk Nation community of approximately 1500 people.
Qualifications
Education, Licensing, & Experience :
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Advanced Trauma life Support (ATLS) Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License – Full Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Emergency Experience Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) If any of the certifications have expired, CARE certification can replace the expired certification.
